FREY (Freyr) legendary name among gods and prominent Vanir whose meaning derives from the word "lord." This pouch has been designed to transport radios, mainly for models: AN/PRC-163, AN/PRC-152, AN/PRC-148 or any other model of a similar size, as its elastic structure adapts to the size of the radio (within the designed range) improving retention and fit within the pouch itself.
What is special about the FREY RADIO POUCH WITH PANEL?
It meets the current need for a multipurpose and configurable equipment, allowing the operator himself to use the FREY pouch with the MOLLE system (which is covered by a panel if not used for greater comfort) or with the Velcro system, thanks to the extendable tab included, designed to be placed on the left side of the operator's equipment. It is compatible with our SIGURD and RUNE cummerbunds, as well as other similar models on the market.
Materials
- High-performance elastic fabric: Allows the use of different types of radios thanks to the margin of adaptation offered by the elasticity of the material, which when expanded slightly fits perfectly to the contour of the radio and achieves greater retention.
- 1000D nylon fabric in the entire pouch to offer maximum resistance to continued use. In the same material we find the upper handle, designed for efficient use even with gloves.
- Female Velcro on the front to be able to be used inside a box-style pouch, such as our FLOKI model or that of other brands (although it is not the original idea of the design). It can also be used to attach indicative elements or patches. It has male Velcro on the back MOLLE strips as a pouch retention system.
- Elastic retention: The pouch includes an elastic band to allow superior retention of the radio, which can be adjusted, or completely removed, depending on the needs of each operator using the radio.
