Named after a royal lineage, our drop pouch is born, designed to function more efficiently in times of stress. Its design and mix of fabrics, especially the elastic material, is made to improve its use in stressful situations for the shooter where eye-hand coordination can be more complicated.
What is so special about the
HAAKON DROP POUCH?
This redesign of the traditional pouch for empty magazines is created to be able to introduce them comfortably in stressful situations and that once inserted they remain in a horizontal position, almost adjusted to the width of the pouch, which avoids internal movements when the operator moves, no matter how much, they stay in place. In addition, its horizontal orientation ensures that the magazines rest in the same direction, allowing optimization of space and naturally maximizing the number of magazines that we can introduce.
Materials
- High performance stretch fabric: It facilitates the insertion of magazines even in situations of combat stress, deforming the pouch enough so as not to hinder insertion and recovering its original shape at the end of the movement. This same process not only takes place on the sides of the pouch, but the opening of the pouch itself has two overlapping lips that, with the same dynamics, ensure that the content does not come out.
- 1000D nylon fabric throughout the pouch to offer maximum resistance for continued use. This laminate is used to replace conventional materials and construction, allowing us to save weight and increase durability.
- The new Velcro attachment system integrated in our equipment carriers allows a quick and easy change of the pouches. However, the laser cut MOLLE attachment has been maintained so that the Valhalla system products remain compatible with the previously existing ones. Following our philosophy of compatibility, the Valhalla system has been designed to increase the versatility of your products.
Volume
The Haakon Drop Pouch has a strip on the front that allows the pouch to be rolled up when not in use, thus reducing the volume generated by the equipment carrier and preventing it from disturbing the operator's activity. And with a simple pull, we detach the Velcro strip, unfolding the pouch automatically and remaining in position ready for use without the need for additional movements.
