What Makes the ULF BACK PANEL Special?

The ULF panel is designed with a semi-rigid structure made from Tegris®, and it is specifically tailored for the King Harald vest. However, it can also be adapted to other plate carriers from different brands thanks to the MOLLE and Velcro systems. Its main purpose is to provide increased load capacity with its internal pocket, as well as enable a quick panel change and configuration according to mission needs via zippers, allowing users to quickly swap panels with different configurations to the gear setup.

Versatility

The ULF panel is designed to allow users to create interchangeable load configurations on the back of their King Harald plate carrier.

Thanks to its Tegris® base structure, the panel provides the necessary rigidity to carry pouches with heavy loads and features a multifunctional internal pocket. While its primary function is to serve as a pocket for breaching tools, it is also designed to offer quick access for teammates.

The Tegris® MOLLE panel has 6 slots across and 5 slots vertically, offering great versatility in storage. This flexibility allows users to carry multiple pre-loaded panels with specific gear and storage solutions, making rapid deployment in missions easier. Additionally, the panel easily adapts to the plate carrier via YKK® zippers, MOLLE, or the Velcro system. It includes small closure strips that, once the panel is installed, allow it to be securely fastened to the plate carrier, minimizing movement and zipper noise during operations.

Tegris®

Tegris® is a material developed for military use, offering excellent protection against fragments, projectiles, or explosions, while maintaining a lighter weight compared to traditional thermoplastics and composites.

Its main function is to provide rigidity to the design without adding weight, thanks to its low density, and it offers great impact resistance even at temperatures as low as -40ºC.
