In Viking culture, the Seax was a single-edged, robust knife used both in combat and for everyday tasks. Its versatile design made it an essential tool for Norse warriors. Inspired by this tradition, we have named our TEGRIS® platform "SEAX" to reflect its strength and functionality. Just like the original Seax, this platform provides reliable support for essential gear, such as knife sheaths.

What makes the SEAX PLATFORM special?

SEAX is a system composed of two pieces made from TEGRIS® that, through an interwoven elastic band, allow the securing of an object between them, such as a knife sheath. Once the object is secured between both pieces, the assembly can be placed inside our FLOKI box or on the sides of our RUNNE cummerbunds, thanks to the Velcro system incorporated on both sides of the SEAX pieces.

Tegris®

Tegris® is a material developed for military applications due to its excellent protection against fragments, projectiles, or explosions, while maintaining a lighter weight compared to traditional thermoplastics and composites. Its primary function is to provide rigidity to the design without adding weight, thanks to its low density, and it offers high impact resistance even at -40ºC.
