Under the name of great kings, our plate carrier is designed for use in direct actions, providing the operator with improved comfort, mobility, and equipment configuration capabilities. The KING HARALD plate carrier is part of the Valhalla system, which allows for greater compatibility with other elements of our system or those of other brands, depending on the needs or mission assigned to the operator.
What makes the KING HARALD PLATE CARRIER special?
Developed from the HARALD model and after intensive use in conflict zones such as Ukraine and various direct action environments, several improvements and modifications have been implemented, maintaining the philosophy of the original design to adapt to the current needs of an operator in direct action, allowing them the highest level of mobility, configuration, and versatility without sacrificing essential ballistic protection.
Mesh MultiCam®
This is a mesh fabric that offers special properties in a wide range of operational scenarios, with the most significant being its ability to instantly drain water in maritime operations. However, the primary functionality of this material (developed for Crye Precision®) is to reduce the weight of the plate carrier and achieve greater heat evacuation in warm environments.
Quick release buckle
One of the shoulder straps features a quick release buckle, a compact system designed to quickly release one side of the plate carrier through pressure or traction. Made of high-strength polymer, it is ideal for waterborne operations. It generates no noise, adds no weight, and remains functional even when using gloves (the shooter has a thermally sealed paracord at the end). It has a high impact resistance and acts as a quick disconnect element at key points, whether in emergency situations or to facilitate donning and doffing.
High-performance elastic fabric
Allows for maximum adjustment to plates from different brands, with the plate carrier adapting to the plate rather than the other way around. It minimizes the profile and prevents internal movement of the plate. Suitable for SAPI and ESAPI ballistic plates with a maximum size of 31 cm x 3,8cm x 26 cm.
ITW Nexus® GTSR Split-Bar Body clips with GhillitexTM technology
Designed for quick attachment to MOLLE/PALS systems ranging from 1 - 25mm. It supports high weight loads due to its construction from Acetal. The Split-Bar system allows for quick and easy attachment and removal of the GTSR clip without the need for cuts or stitches, enhancing modularity and customization at various points of a MOLLE system.
1000D Nylon fabric:
This fabric is used in load-bearing areas or where other equipment attachment elements are typically placed, providing greater resistance to the overall setup. In the KING HARALD plate carrier, it works in a hybrid manner with Velcro strips and laser cutting technology, allowing for both traditional MOLLE attachment systems and Velcro systems to be used simultaneously.
YKK® zippers
The back of the KING HARALD plate carrier incorporates YKK® zippers designed for the integration of modular panels. This system allows the operator to attach preconfigured panels, such as ULF panels, adapting the equipment configuration quickly based on mission requirements. Thanks to the zippers, combined with MOLLE and Velcro fastenings, installation is simple and secure.
Size
The KING HARALD design is intended to ensure the plate carrier moves with the operator according to the basic principles of sports biomechanics, in which the equipment must adapt (as much as possible) and follow, as naturally as possible, the movements of the human body. Reducing the plate carrier to its bare essentials, while still offering protection for vital organs, allows for a greater range of lateral and abdominal mobility as it better conforms to the anatomy of the upper torso.

- Laser-cut MOLLE replacing traditional strips with precision-cut spaces, reducing the system’s bulk for equipment pouch attachment, thus increasing garment efficiency.
- Top internal pocket for documentation.
