The Fanny Pack Panel is named after one of the most famous Nordic explorers, Erik the Red, a great warrior and explorer of new lands who was always in search of adventures and new horizons. This panel is for those who, like him, are nonconformists and are constantly seeking new ways to improve and experiment with their gear.
What makes the ERIK FANNY PACK PANEL special?
The Erik Fanny Pack Panel is made from 1000D Cordura and features 6 MOLLE webbing lines on the top, allowing the attachment of all types of pouches, either by velcro or sewn using MOLLE.
Abdominal Area
The panel can be used with its harness, which includes two ITW Nexus® GTSR Split-Bar clips, allowing it to be used as a fanny pack (with the addition of pouches). You can also remove the strap and use the panel independently by removing the rear flap and attaching it to a surface with female velcro.
Extra MOLLE
It is compatible with our chest rigs, allowing additional MOLLE lines to be added to different parts of the harness (rear or sides).
You can also add extra MOLLE lines when used with our Hardrada Father and Son belts.
The panel includes a velcro strip with two G-hooks, allowing it to be used to expand the load in the abdominal area (inside the plate carrier).
Materials
ITW Nexus® GTSR Split-Bar Clips with Ghillitex™ technology, designed for quick attachment to MOLLE/PALS systems from 1-25mm. They allow for high weight loads due to their Acetal construction. The Split-Bar system enables quick placement and removal of the GTSR clip without the need for cuts or stitches, increasing modularity and providing custom adjustment at various points of a MOLLE system.
GhillieTEX™ is a technology that gives MILSPEC products a reduced IR signature, making them 100% U.S. Berry Amendment Compliant.
Mesh MultiCam®: This mesh fabric offers special properties for a wide range of operational scenarios, with its most notable feature being its ability to reduce weight and provide greater heat evacuation in warm environments. It was developed for Crye Precision®.
1000D Nylon Fabric: This is used in load-bearing areas or where other gear attachments are typically placed, expanding the operator’s carrying capacity.
